Donate hygiene items to support the Countywide Personal Care Drive! For every full-sized personal care item you donate, receive one raffle ticket!
Book Buddy Reading Nook
Join our Book Buddy volunteers for a short story. For stopping at the Reading Nook, youth will receive a book and an activity raffle ticket! We're seeking Book Buddy mentors to read with second graders, learn how you can get involved by clicking HERE.
Power Snack Kit Build
We are launching our new "Kit Build Engagement Opportunities" this fall! Organizations and social groups can contract the United Way to host a kit build to learn more about specific needs in our community. At Taste of United Way, help us build 300 Power Snacks and receive one raffle ticket!
Youth Drawing Contest
Our annual Day of Caring Youth Drawing Contest is moving to the Fall! Youth who live or attend school in Cayuga County, between 4th - 12th grade are eligible to submit a line drawing for the 2027 Day of Caring t-shirt design. Youth who submit a drawing with completed registration form will receive an activity raffle ticket!
Volunteer Cayuga
Get involved and volunteer with your favorite nonprofit agencies by finding opportunities through our new Volunteer Cayuga platform. DO YOU KNOW ALICE?
ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. You can learn more about what it means to survive in Cayuga County by joining our Development & Engagement Manager for an abbreviated 30-minute ALICE Simulation. Sessions are offered at 3:45pm and 5:00pm. To participate you must register when you check-in to the Taste of United Way event.
Those who complete the ALICE simulation will receive a ticket to enter the $500 Wegmans gift card drawing.
RAFFLE ITEMS!
All raffles will have a 5:45 final call with the winners drawn at 6:00pm. You do not need to be present to win.
Raffle Tickets and 50/50 Raffle prices are $1 per ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, and $10 for 15 tickets
Activity Raffle Tickets are 1 ticket for either 5 jumping jacks or 5 pushups
Wegmans $500 Gift Card - 1 Winner from those who participate in Passport program and / or ALICE simulation
