2027 Sponsorships
One Investment = Year-Round Partnership
Since our Century of Service celebrations in 2022, opportunities to sponsor United Way events and programs have increased dramatically. It feels like we are asking you for sponsorships year-round in addition to other agencies requesting your support—we want to change that.
For 2027, your United Way is testing a new approach: One Investment = Year-Round Partnership. Your single sponsorship is an opportunity to collaborate with the United Way year-round, bringing visibility to your brand, and opportunities to connect with neighbors at our major events as well as through the United Way of Cayuga County’s programs and initiatives.
Between major events such as Timmy’s Back Half Mini-Golf Tournament and Donor appreciation as well as United Way of Cayuga County programs like Day of Caring and Book Buddies—your single sponsorship will support and be recognized at opportunities throughout the year. Your sponsorship will help the United Way strengthen Cayuga County while creating meaningful ways for you to connect with our community.
Our team is working on an informative sponsorship booklet that will be released by early January. However, we know that you are planning your 2027 budget now and we wanted to give you ample time to consider your level of support.
Included in this abbreviated packet is a list of events and programs your single sponsorship will support, an outline of benefits that are applied across all our major events and applicable programs, as well as a payment schedule.
Once the official sponsorship booklet is available, you will receive an electronic and / or mailed copy as well as a follow-up call from our team to answer any questions you have.

As this is a year-round Sponsorship opportunity, larger sponsorships can be paid in two (2) or four (4) installments. Please see next page for payment schedule.
Your sponsorship helps support United Way’s work across a variety of programs, initiatives, and community events by underwriting their cost while raising your brand visibility and highlighting your collaboration with United Way.

FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Sponsorships are not donations. Sponsors underwrite the cost of venues, entertainment, supplies, administrative needs, etc. and for both events and programs listed in the sponsorship outline. Your organization receives brand visibility and marketing in exchange for your year-round sponsorship.
