Together, we can always do more.
For 100 years and counting, the United Way of Cayuga County and Cayuga County residents, business, nonprofits, schools, government, and more, have come together to find ways to make an impact, together. It’s the United Way of Cayuga County’s 100th Anniversary this year. What a momentous time in history to be a part of their annual fall campaign. Relationships have been the fundamental reason behind its 100-year history, and is the chief motive behind NUCOR’s 2022-23 campaign theme: POWERFUL PARTNERSHIPS. The concept of partnerships is not anything new to the United Way and its annual Countywide campaign. Each year we excite the community in whole to come together for the benefit of those, at every age and stage, in need of critical human services. We have been developing this partnership all along between generous donors, individuals and families, our local businesses and their employees, our nonprofit sector, our foundations, and more. The team at the United Way who glues this all together with the help of many; our partner agencies in Cayuga County, the people within those agencies who provide an array of resources and programs, and lastly, those we serve from all this hard work. Four important partners, which without any one of these, everything changes.
